The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.1.185, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 185 of Antya-khanda chapter 1—“Meeting Again at the House of Shri Advaita Acarya”.

অনন্ত অর্বুদ লোক হৈল খেযা-ঘাটে খেযারি করিতে পার পডিল সঙ্কটে ॥ ১৮৫ ॥
अनन्त अर्बुद लोक हैल खेया-घाटे खेयारि करिते पार पडिल सङ्कटे ॥ १८५ ॥
ananta arbuda loka haila kheyā-ghāṭe kheyāri karite pāra paḍila saṅkaṭe || 185 ||

English translation:
(185) Unlimited millions of people gathered at the boat landing. The boatmen fell into a dilemma about how to get everyone across.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word kheyāri refers to a boatman at a boat landing.
During the time of Mahāprabhu the Sarasvatī, or Khaḍiyā, River entered the Ganges where the canal known as Vāg-devī currently enters the Ganges near Nṛsiṃhapallī. At that time the boat ghāṭa on the Khaḍiyā River was outside Śrī Māyāpur, past Suvarṇavihāra, Godruma, and Madhyadvīpa. At that place people from Navadvīpa would cross the river to go to Śāntipura and Phuliyā. It seems that Navadvīpa was quite vast at that time.
