The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.1.186, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 186 of Antya-khanda chapter 1—“Meeting Again at the House of Shri Advaita Acarya”.

কেহ বান্ধে ভেলা কেহ ঘট বুকে করে কেহ বা কলার গাছ ধরিযা সাঙ্তারে ॥ ১৮৬ ॥

केह बान्धे भेला केह घट बुके करे केह वा कलार गाछ धरिया साङ्तारे ॥ १८६ ॥

keha bāndhe bhelā keha ghaṭa buke kare keha vā kalāra gācha dhariyā sāṅtāre || 186 ||

keha bandhe bhela keha ghata buke kare keha va kalara gacha dhariya santare (186)

English translation:

(186) Some people made rafts out of banana tree trunks, some floated on overturned waterpots, and some simply swam across while holding
