The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.28.88, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 88 of Madhya-khanda chapter 28—“The Lord’s Pastime of Accepting Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.28.88:

কত-ক্ষণে ভক্ত-গণ হৈ’ কিছু শান্ত শচী-দেবী বেডি সব বসিলা মহান্ত ॥ ৮৮ ॥

कत-क्षणे भक्त-गण है’ किछु शान्त शची-देवी वेडि सब वसिला महान्त ॥ ८८ ॥

kata-kṣaṇe bhakta-gaṇa hai’ kichu śānta śacī-devī veḍi saba vasilā mahānta || 88 ||

kata-ksane bhakta-gana hai’ kichu santa saci-devi vedi saba vasila mahanta (88)

English translation:

(88) After some time the devotees became somewhat pacified and sat around mother Śacī.
