The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.16.16, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 16 of Madhya-khanda chapter 16—“The Lord’s Acceptance of Shuklambara’s Rice”.

কৃষ্ণাবেশে মহা-মত্ত ঠাকুর পণ্ডিত যার বাহ্য নাহি, তার কিসের গর্বিত? ॥ ১৬ ॥
कृष्णावेशे महा-मत्त ठाकुर पण्डित यार बाह्य नाहि, तार किसेर गर्वित? ॥ १६ ॥
kṛṣṇāveśe mahā-matta ṭhākura paṇḍita yāra bāhya nāhi, tāra kisera garvita? || 16 ||
krsnavese maha-matta thakura pandita yara bahya nahi, tara kisera garvita? (16)
English translation:
(16) Śrīvāsa Paṇḍita was intoxicated with love of Kṛṣṇa. How can one who has no external consciousness become proud?
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Intoxicated by serving Kṛṣṇa through kīrtana, Śrīvāsa Paṇḍita was completely aloof from the waves of external thought. He did not do anything under the control of false ego. His mentality was not like that of persons attached to material enjoyment, who under the influence of pride disturb others.
