The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.10.12, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 12 of Madhya-khanda chapter 10—“Conclusion of the Lord’s Maha-prakasha Pastimes”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.10.12:

ডাকি’ বলে বিশ্বম্ভর,—“আরেরে বানরা পাসরিলি, তোরে পোডাইল সীতা-চোরা ॥ ১২ ॥

डाकि’ बले विश्वम्भर,—“आरेरे वानरा पासरिलि, तोरे पोडाइल सीता-चोरा ॥ १२ ॥

ḍāki’ bale viśvambhara,—“ārere vānarā pāsarili, tore poḍāila sītā-corā || 12 ||

daki’ bale visvambhara,—“arere vanara pasarili, tore podaila sita-cora (12)

English translation:

(12) Viśvambhara exclaimed, “O monkey, you forgot how Rāvaṇa, who stole Sītā, burned you.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

“Rāvaṇa, who stole Sītā, burned your face.”
