The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.5.64, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 64 of Madhya-khanda chapter 5—“Lord Nityananda’s Vyasa-puja Ceremony and His Darshana of the Lord’s Six-armed Form”.

চৈতন্যের বচন-অঙ্কুশ সবে মানে নিত্যানন্দ-মত্ত-সিংহ আর নাহি জানে ॥ ৬৪ ॥
चैतन्येर वचन-अङ्कुश सबे माने नित्यानन्द-मत्त-सिंह आर नाहि जाने ॥ ६४ ॥
caitanyera vacana-aṅkuśa sabe māne nityānanda-matta-siṃha āra nāhi jāne || 64 ||
caitanyera vacana-ankusa sabe mane nityananda-matta-simha ara nahi jane (64)
English translation:
(64) The maddened lionlike Nityānanda was controlled by the iron rodlike words of Lord Caitanya. He did not care for anything else.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word aṅkuśa refers to an iron rod for controlling maddened elephants. Since the iron rod in the form of Śrī Caitanyadeva’s vacana, or words, refines the madness and licentiousness of the living entities, His words have been described herein as vacana-aṅkuśa.
