The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.99, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 99 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

আমার সে হেন জন্ম গেল বৃথা-রসে পাইনু অমূল্য নিধি গেল দৈব-দোষে” ॥ ৯৯ ॥
आमार से हेन जन्म गेल वृथा-रसे पाइनु अमूल्य निधि गेल दैव-दोषे” ॥ ९९ ॥
āmāra se hena janma gela vṛthā-rase pāinu amūlya nidhi gela daiva-doṣe” || 99 ||
amara se hena janma gela vrtha-rase painu amulya nidhi gela daiva-dose” (99)
English translation:
(99) “I have passed My time in useless endeavors. Although I obtained that priceless treasure, by the arrangement of providence I have lost it.”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The Lord said to Gadādhara, “O Gadādhara, because you are inclined to the service of Kṛṣṇa since your childhood, you are most fortunate. I did not have the strong determination for serving Kṛṣṇa like you. I have uselessly wasted My time studying books on logic. Although I found My lost wealth, Kṛṣṇa, due to My misfortune I am now bereft of Him.”
