The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.85, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 85 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.85:

“পাইনু, ঈশ্বর মোর কোন্ দিকে গেলা?” এত বলি’ স্তম্ভ কোলে করিযা পডিলা ॥ ৮৫ ॥

“पाइनु, ईश्वर मोर कोन् दिके गेला?” एत बलि’ स्तम्भ कोले करिया पडिला ॥ ८५ ॥

“pāinu, īśvara mora kon dike gelā?” eta bali’ stambha kole kariyā paḍilā || 85 ||

“painu, isvara mora kon dike gela?” eta bali’ stambha kole kariya padila (85)

English translation:

(85) “I attained My Lord, but, oh, where has He gone?” Saying this, the Lord fell to the ground while holding a pillar.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

“Alas, I attained Kṛṣṇa, but now He has left Me.” While speaking in this way, the Lord tightly embraced a pillar of the house out of love for Kṛṣṇa.
