Surabhikeśatā (सुरभिकेशता) or Surabhikeśa refers to “fragrant hair of the head” and represents the seventy-ninth of the “eighty secondary characteristics” (anuvyañjana) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 83). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (eg., surabhi-keśatā). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
