Śivaśaktisamāyoga (शिवशक्तिसमायोग) refers to the “union of Śiva and Śakti”, according to the Kularatnoddyota, one of the earliest Kubjikā Tantras.—Accordingly, “[...] That is said to be the union of Śiva and Śakti [e.g., śivaśaktisamāyoga]. There, O goddess, they are also churned together as befits (the act of union). There, O dear one, the male seed and menses, the vital essence (of the god and the goddess) are mixed together. The great and immortal Drop originated there, O fair faced one, energized and shining, (it shone with the) light of tens of millions of suns. [...]”.
