Source: Jainworld: Jain History (h)Madaneśasāgarapura (मदनेशसागरपुर) or simply Madaneśasāgara is the historical name for Ahāra, situated in Tikamgarh District.—The ancient name of Ahāra place was Madaneśasāgarapura, named after the Chandella ruler Madanavarman. This place is known to be associated with one Pāḍāśāha who built a Jain temple here. There are inscriptions dated V.S. 1123 and V.S. 1136 engraved on the images available here.
