Source: MDPI Books: The Ocean of HeroesLaghusaṃvara (लघुसंवर) is another name for the Cakrasaṃvaratantra: the oldest scripture in the Saṃvara scriptural tradition (abbreviated to Cakrasaṃvara). The Cakrasaṃvaratantra is also called Herukābhidhāna and Laghusaṃvara and was gradually composed between the late 8th and 10th century CE or between the late 9th and 10th century CE.

Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources. Esotericism and tantra techniques (vajrayāna) are collected indepently.
