Kṣubh (क्षुभ्).—1 Ā., 4, 9 P. (kṣobhate, kṣubhyati, kṣubhnāti, kṣubhita-kṣubdha)

1) To shake, tremble, to be agitated or disturbed; महाह्रद इव क्षुभ्यन् (mahāhrada iva kṣubhyan) Bhaṭṭikāvya 9.118; R.4.21; Śiśupālavadha 8.24.

2) To be unsteady.

3) To stumble (fig. also). -Caus. (kṣobhayati) To agitate, stir up, excite, perturb.
