Source: Sutta: The Pali Text Society's Pali-English DictionaryKañcanavelli refers to: a g. robe, girdle or waist cloth J. V, 398 (but explained as “k-rūpakasadisa-sarīra “having a body like a g. statue”), cp. J. V, 306, where velli is explained by kacchā, girdle.
Note: kañcanavelli is a Pali compound consisting of the words kañcana and velli.
