Theme describing the utter helplessness of dependents at the death of a chief or his wife; தலைவனேனும் தலைவியேனும் இறந்தமைக்கு அவர் ஆயத்தார் மூதலானோர் செயலற்று மிகவருந்தி யமை கூறும் புறத்துறை. கழிந்தோர் தேஎத் தழிபட ருறீஇ, ஒழிந்தோர் புலம்பிய கையறு நிலையும் [thalaivanenum thalaiviyenum iranthamaikku avar ayathar muthalanor seyalarru migavarunthi yamai kurum purathurai. kazhinthor theeth thazhipada rurii, ozhinthor pulambiya kaiyaru nilaiyum] (தொல். பொ.
