Jyeṣṭhasantāna (ज्येष्ठसन्तान) refers to the “family of the eldest”, according to the Ṭīkā (commentary) on the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, “Then who and how is the teacher and by whom and where is he worshipped? It is said: ‘(His) nature is the future’. The lord of the Lineage of the Eldest. He should be worshipped in the lineage of the family of the Eldest (jyeṣṭhasantāna-vallī). What is attained there? The supreme state, that is, (ultimate) reality. [...]”..
