gandhākṣata (गंधाक्षत).—f (S gandha & akṣata The two articles in constant use by the ceremonially clean and pure.) Pure and holy intercourse or relation. Ex. hyācī tyācī gaṃ0 hōta nāhīṃ. Hence gandhākṣatavarjana Prohibition of consociality or the free and equal intercourse. gandhākṣatavarjya Fit to be prohibited &c.
