恩愛 [en ai]—En'ai — [Term] Refers to the feeling of mutual gratitude and cherished love among parents, spouses, and children, etc. The Sutra of Immeasurable Life (無量壽經 [wu liang shou jing]) states: "Love and affection, longing and yearning, worry and anxiety form fetters." The Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment (圓覺經 [yuan jue jing]) states: "All sentient beings (一切眾生 [yi qie zhong sheng]), from beginningless time (無始際 [wu shi ji]), due to various kinds of love and affection and covetous desires (貪欲 [tan yu]), thus experience the cycle of rebirth (輪迴 [lun hui])."
恩愛—【術語】於父母妻子等間互感恩溺愛之情也。無量壽經曰:「恩愛思慕,憂念結縛。」圓覺經曰:「一切眾生,從無始際,由有種種恩愛貪欲,故有輪迴。」
