1) a large umbrageous tree; स्निग्धच्छायातरुषु वसतिं रामगिर्याश्रमेषु (snigdhacchāyātaruṣu vasatiṃ rāmagiryāśrameṣu) Meghadūta 1; Ś.4.11.

2) The Nameru tree; छायावृक्षो नमेरौ स्यात् (chāyāvṛkṣo namerau syāt) | Nm.
