Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramBhavabandha (भवबन्ध) refers to the “bondage of phenomenal existence”, according to the Śrīmatottara-tantra, an expansion of the Kubjikāmatatantra: the earliest popular and most authoritative Tantra of the Kubjikā cult.—Accordingly, [while describing the visualized form of Navātman Bhairava]: “[...] The Vaḍava Fire is energized by the Yoga of Stillness. It is delighted by the bliss of Navātman and is rich with the juice of the bliss of (its own) energy. The Vaḍava Fire is energized by the Yoga of the Supreme Nectar. One who is free of the bondage of phenomenal existence (bhavabandha) has crossed the ocean of phenomenal existence. Therefore, one should practice Stillness with all effort. [...]”.

Its form is like the sky, the dwelling place of the ether and like a pure crystal and gem, [it is] without beginning or end, unelaborated, beyond the senses, unchanging, without appearance, completely void, free of ills, the light of the world, the destruction of the bonds of existence (bhavabandha-nāśana), inexpressible by words and even beyond the sphere of the mind”.

Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources.
