Abhimanyamāna (अभिमन्यमान):—[tatpurusha compound] m. f. n.

(-naḥ-nā-nam) Having an erroneous conception, fancying; e. g. Vijnānabh. on the S. Prav.: kaścidrājaputro janmapurānniḥsāritaḥ śabareṇa kenacitpoṣitohaṃ śabara ityabhimanyamānastaṃ dvijaṃ jñātvā kaścidamātyaḥ prabodhayati na tvaṃ śabaropi rājaputrastathā rājāsīti sa ca jhaṭityeva cāṇḍālābhimānaṃ tyaktvā sāttvikameva rājabhāvamālambate rājāhamakṣmīti.
