Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation of verse 3.14.602:
उपमानं समस्तानामभिन्नं श्रूयते क्वचित् ।
भिन्नानामुपमेयानामेकैकं वोपमीयते ॥ ६०२ ॥upamānaṃ samastānāmabhinnaṃ śrūyate kvacit |
bhinnānāmupameyānāmekaikaṃ vopamīyate || 602 ||602. Sometimes one standard of comparison is used for many objects of comparison and sometimes, each of the many objects of comparison is compared to a different standard of comparison.
