Verse 3.9.34
Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation of verse 3.9.34:
यावांश्च द्व्यणुकादीनां तावान् बिमवतोऽप्यसौ ।
न ह्यात्मा कस्यचिद् भेत्तुं प्रचेतुं वापि शक्यते ॥ ३४ ॥yāvāṃśca dvyaṇukādīnāṃ tāvān bimavato'pyasau |
na hyātmā kasyacid bhettuṃ pracetuṃ vāpi śakyate || 34 ||34. This is the same for a binary etc. as for the Himalaya. The object, as a whole, has neither differentiation nor increase.
Commentary
[As the whole is indivisible, these different times are the same for all objects. Parts are different from the whole. Magnitude is a quality and is different from the whole. Because of difference in quality, the whole cannot increase or decrease. As the whole remains the same, it cannot bring about any difference in the three times of big or small objects.]
