The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.689, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 689 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

এত বলি’ আপন-গলায মালা আনি’ তুষ্ট হৈ’ ব্রাহ্মণেরে দিলেন আপনি ॥ ৬৮৯ ॥

एत बलि’ आपन-गलाय माला आनि’ तुष्ट है’ ब्राह्मणेरे दिलेन आपनि ॥ ६८९ ॥

eta bali’ āpana-galāya mālā āni’ tuṣṭa hai’ brāhmaṇere dilena āpani || 689 ||

eta bali’ apana-galaya mala ani’ tusta hai’ brahmanere dilena apani (689)

English translation:

(689) After speaking these words, Nityānanda took the garland from His neck and happily gave it to the brāhmaṇa.
