The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.54, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 54 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.54:

যদি কদাচিত্ লক্ষ্মী ও ভিক্ষা করে তথাপিহ দারিদ্র্য নহিব তোর ঘরে ॥ ৫৪ ॥

यदि कदाचित् लक्ष्मी ओ भिक्षा करे तथापिह दारिद्र्य नहिब तोर घरे ॥ ५४ ॥

yadi kadācit lakṣmī o bhikṣā kare tathāpiha dāridrya nahiba tora ghare || 54 ||

yadi kadacit laksmi o bhiksa kare tathapiha daridrya nahiba tora ghare (54)

English translation:

(54) “Even if Lakṣmī has to beg, your household will not be afflicted by poverty.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Even if Lakṣmīdevī, the source of unlimited potencies and all opulences, ever faces poverty, the unalloyed topmost devotee Śrīvāsa Paṇḍita will never face poverty.
