The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.19.161, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 161 of Madhya-khanda chapter 19—“The Lord’s Pastimes in Advaita’s House”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.19.161:

উচ্ছিষ্ট-প্রভাবে নাহি গণোঙ্ তোর মাযা করিলা ত’ শাস্তি, এবে দেহ’ পদ-ছাযা” ॥ ১৬১ ॥

उच्छिष्ट-प्रभावे नाहि गणोङ् तोर माया करिला त’ शास्ति, एबे देह’ पद-छाया” ॥ १६१ ॥

ucchiṣṭa-prabhāve nāhi gaṇoṅ tora māyā karilā ta’ śāsti, ebe deha’ pada-chāyā” || 161 ||

ucchista-prabhave nahi ganon tora maya karila ta’ sasti, ebe deha’ pada-chaya” (161)

English translation:

(161) “By the influence of Your remnants I am unaffected by Your illusory energy. You have punished Me, now give Me the shelter of Your lotus feet.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

In the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam (11.6.46) it is stated:

tvayopabhukta-srag-gandha- vāso-’laṅkāra-carcitāḥ ucchiṣṭa-bhojino dāsās tava māyāṃ jayema hi

“Simply by decorating ourselves with the garlands, fragrant oils, clothes, and ornaments that You have already enjoyed, and by eating the remnants of Your meals, we, Your servants, will indeed conquer Your illusory energy.”
