The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.18.157, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 157 of Madhya-khanda chapter 18—“Mahaprabhu’s Dancing as a Gopi”.

সম্মুখে দেউটি ধরে পণ্ডিত শ্রীমান্ চতুর্-দিকে হরিদাস করে সাবধান ॥ ১৫৭ ॥

सम्मुखे देउटि धरे पण्डित श्रीमान् चतुर्-दिके हरिदास करे सावधान ॥ १५७ ॥

sammukhe deuṭi dhare paṇḍita śrīmān catur-dike haridāsa kare sāvadhāna || 157 ||

sammukhe deuti dhare pandita sriman catur-dike haridasa kare savadhana (157)

English translation:

(157) Śrīmān Paṇḍita held a lamp before the Lord, and Haridāsa alerted everyone in the four directions.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word deuṭi refers to a lamp.
