The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.18.24, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 24 of Madhya-khanda chapter 18—“Mahaprabhu’s Dancing as a Gopi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.18.24:

শুনিযাঠাকুর কহে ঈষত্ হাসিযা “তোমরা না গেলে নৃত্য কাহারে লৈযা” ॥ ২৪ ॥

शुनियाठाकुर कहे ईषत् हासिया “तोमरा ना गेले नृत्य काहारे लैया” ॥ २४ ॥

śuniyāṭhākura kahe īṣat hāsiyā “tomarā nā gele nṛtya kāhāre laiyā” || 24 ||

suniyathakura kahe isat hasiya “tomara na gele nrtya kahare laiya” (24)

English translation:

(24) On hearing their words, the Lord slightly smiled and said, “If you do not go, then who will attend the dance?”
