The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.132, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 132 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

‘কতি যাবে চোরা আজি?’—ভাবে মনে-মনে “এত-দিন চুরি করি’ বুল’ এইখানে! ॥ ১৩২ ॥
‘कति याबे चोरा आजि?’—भावे मने-मने “एत-दिन चुरि करि’ बुल’ एइखाने! ॥ १३२ ॥
‘kati yābe corā āji?’—bhāve mane-mane “eta-dina curi kari’ bula’ eikhāne! || 132 ||
‘kati yabe cora aji?’—bhave mane-mane “eta-dina curi kari’ bula’ eikhane! (132)
English translation:
(132) He thought, “O My thief, where will You go today? You have been wandering about all these days hiding just like a thief!
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word corā (an ordinary local word, used in this case as a noun) means “thief,” “cheater,” or “one who conceals his identity.” The phrase curi kari’ means “deceiving by hiding one’s identity.”
