The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.357, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 357 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

কালি তুমি পুঙ্থি যবে চিন্তাহ নগরে তখন পডিল শ্লোক এক বিপ্র-বরে ॥ ৩৫৭ ॥

कालि तुमि पुङ्थि यबे चिन्ताह नगरे तखन पडिल श्लोक एक विप्र-वरे ॥ ३५७ ॥

kāli tumi puṅthi yabe cintāha nagare takhana paḍila śloka eka vipra-vare || 357 ||

kali tumi punthi yabe cintaha nagare takhana padila sloka eka vipra-vare (357)

English translation:

(357) “When You were teaching us yesterday in the town, a pious brāhmaṇa
