The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.134, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 134 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.134:

পুত্রের চরিত্র শচী কিছুই না বুঝে পুত্রের মঙ্গল লাগি’ গঙ্গা-বিষ্ণু পূজে ॥ ১৩৪ ॥

पुत्रेर चरित्र शची किछुइ ना बुझे पुत्रेर मङ्गल लागि’ गङ्गा-विष्णु पूजे ॥ १३४ ॥

putrera caritra śacī kichui nā bujhe putrera maṅgala lāgi’ gaṅgā-viṣṇu pūje || 134 ||

putrera caritra saci kichui na bujhe putrera mangala lagi’ ganga-visnu puje (134)

English translation:

(134) Mother Śacī was unable to understand anything of her son’s behavior, she simply worshiped the Ganges and Lord Viṣṇu for her son’s welfare.
