The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.14.68, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 68 of Adi-khanda chapter 14—“The Lord’s Travel to East Bengal and the Disappearance of Lakshmipriya”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.14.68:

“নিমাই-পণ্ডিত অধ্যাপক শিরোমণি আসিযা আছেন”,—সর্ব-দিকে হৈল ধ্বনি ॥ ৬৮ ॥

“निमाइ-पण्डित अध्यापक शिरोमणि आसिया आछेन”,—सर्व-दिके हैल ध्वनि ॥ ६८ ॥

“nimāi-paṇḍita adhyāpaka śiromaṇi āsiyā āchena”,—sarva-dike haila dhvani || 68 ||

“nimai-pandita adhyapaka siromani asiya achena”,—sarva-dike haila dhvani (68)

English translation:

(68) News soon spread in all directions: “The crest jewel of teachers, Nimāi Paṇḍita, has arrived on the banks of the Padmāvatī.”
