The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.13.124, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 124 of Adi-khanda chapter 13—“Defeating Digvijayi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.13.124:

অবশ্য ইহার আজি বুঝিব কারণ” এত বলি’ মন্ত্র-জপে বসিলা ব্রাহ্মণ ॥ ১২৪ ॥

अवश्य इहार आजि बुझिब कारण” एत बलि’ मन्त्र-जपे वसिला ब्राह्मण ॥ १२४ ॥

avaśya ihāra āji bujhiba kāraṇa” eta bali’ mantra-jape vasilā brāhmaṇa || 124 ||

avasya ihara aji bujhiba karana” eta bali’ mantra-jape vasila brahmana (124)

English translation:

(124) “I must find out the cause of my defeat.” Thinking in this way, the brāhmaṇa began chanting his mantra.
