The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.52, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 52 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.52:

কত-দিন পডাইযা, মোর চিত্তে আছে চলিমু বুঝিযা ভাল বৈষ্ণবের কাছে” ॥ ৫২ ॥

कत-दिन पडाइया, मोर चित्ते आछे चलिमु बुझिया भाल वैष्णवेर काछे” ॥ ५२ ॥

kata-dina paḍāiyā, mora citte āche calimu bujhiyā bhāla vaiṣṇavera kāche” || 52 ||

kata-dina padaiya, mora citte ache calimu bujhiya bhala vaisnavera kache” (52)

English translation:

(52) “I’ve already decided that after teaching a while longer, I will go serve a pure devotee.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The Lord said, “After studying in this way for a while longer, I will approach a mahā-bhāgavata Vaiṣṇava and, after understanding topics of the spiritual world, I will follow him. In other words, I have a desire to first become expert in studies and then cultivate pure Vaiṣṇava

principles.”
