The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.9.74, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 74 of Adi-khanda chapter 9—“Nityananda’s Childhood Pastimes and Travels to Holy Places”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.9.74:

হনুমান্ বোলে,—“কার্য-গৌরবে চলিব আসিবারে চাহি, রহিবারে না পারিব ॥ ৭৪ ॥

हनुमान् बोले,—“कार्य-गौरवे चलिब आसिबारे चाहि, रहिबारे ना पारिब ॥ ७४ ॥

hanumān bole,—“kārya-gaurave caliba āsibāre cāhi, rahibāre nā pāriba || 74 ||

hanuman bole,—“karya-gaurave caliba asibare cahi, rahibare na pariba (74)

English translation:

(74) Hanumān replied, “I must go and complete my important mission. I would like to come, but I cannot delay.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The words kārya-gaurave refer to the importance of one’s duties.
