The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.5.107, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 107 of Adi-khanda chapter 5—“Eating the Mendicant Brahmana’s Offerings”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.5.107:

অতএব আজি যত্ন না করিহ আর ফল, মূল কিছু মাত্র করিমু আহার” ॥ ১০৭ ॥

अतएव आजि यत्न ना करिह आर फल, मूल किछु मात्र करिमु आहार” ॥ १०७ ॥

ataeva āji yatna nā kariha āra phala, mūla kichu mātra karimu āhāra” || 107 ||

ataeva aji yatna na kariha ara phala, mula kichu matra karimu ahara” (107)

English translation:

(107) “Therefore do not make any further arrangements for cooking today. I will simply eat some fruits and roots.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word kichu means “a little.”
