The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.4.13, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 13 of Adi-khanda chapter 4—“Name-giving Ceremony, Childhood Pastimes, and Thieves Kidnap the Lord”.

নানা-মন্ত্রে কেহ দশ দিক্ বন্ধ করে উঠিল পরম কলরব শচী-ঘরে ॥ ১৩ ॥
नाना-मन्त्रे केह दश दिक् बन्ध करे उठिल परम कलरव शची-घरे ॥ १३ ॥
nānā-mantre keha daśa dik bandha kare uṭhila parama kalarava śacī-ghare || 13 ||
nana-mantre keha dasa dik bandha kare uthila parama kalarava saci-ghare (13)
English translation:
(13) Someone else would protect the ten directions by mantra. In this way a commotion arose in the house of mother Śacī.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The process of protecting the ten directions with mantras in order to stop any danger from entering was also current.
