The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.3.11, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 11 of Adi-khanda chapter 3—“Calculation of the Lord’s Horoscope”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.3.11:

‘বিপ্র রাজা গৌডে হৈবেক’ হেন আছে বিপ্র বলে,—’সেই বা, জানিব তাহা পাছে’ ॥ ১১ ॥

‘विप्र राजा गौडे हैबेक’ हेन आछे विप्र बले,—’सेइ वा, जानिब ताहा पाछे’ ॥ ११ ॥

‘vipra rājā gauḍe haibeka’ hena āche vipra bale,—’sei vā, jāniba tāhā pāche’ || 11 ||

‘vipra raja gaude haibeka’ hena ache vipra bale,—’sei va, janiba taha pache’ (11)

English translation:

(11) “There is a prediction that in the future a brāhmaṇa will become the King of Bengal. The future will show whether this child is that personality.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

There was a prophecy amongst people that a great personality would be born in a brāhmaṇa family of Bengal and become king. Nīlāmbara Cakravartī thought that perhaps this boy would in the future become King of Bengal. Time would tell.
