The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Sulba-sutra with the commentaries of Kapardin, Karavinda and Sundararaja. The Sulbasutras are considered Vedic appendices and deals with the ancient Indian science of Mathematics and Geometry, by instructing the construction of fire-altars, among others. dvādaśikāpañcikayos trayodaśikākṣṇayārajjuḥ, tābhir aṃsau dvirabhyastābhiḥ śroṇī || ĀpŚus_5.4 ||
yupāvaṭīyācchaṅkoḥ paścātpañcasu śaṅkuṃ nihatya tasmin trayodaśikāṃ pratimucya yūpāvaṭīye pañcikāṃ dvādaśikāṃ ca pratimucya tābhiraṃsau mātavyau / dvirabhyastābhiḥśroṇī / yūpāvaṭīye trayodaśikāṃ sābhyāsāṃ pratimucya sābhyāsāṃ dvādaśikāṃ ca prathamanihate pañcikāṃ ca sābhyāsām, tābhiḥ śroṇī mātavyau /
yūpāvaṭīyaśaṅkoḥ paścāt pañcadaśasu śaṅkuṃ nihatya tasmiṃstrayodaśikāṃ pratimucya yūpāvaṭīye dvādaśikāṃ pratimucya tābhyāmaṃsau / tathā prathamanihataśaṅkau dvirabhyastāṃ pañcikāṃ pratimucya yūpāvaṭīye dvirabhyastāṃ trayodaśikāṃ pratimucya tābhyāṃ śroṇyau /
