Sucetarāma (सुचेतराम) is the name of an ancient king and was the father of  Rāmanārāyaṇa (19th century): the author of Kīrtichandomālā, who, because of his devotion for Lord Viṣṇu, was conferred with the title of Viṣṇusakhyāpanna. Rāmanārāyaṇa was the son of king Sucetarāma and disciple of Rāmasiṃha, Sadāsukha and Harinātha.

Sucetarāma has composed his lone work namely Bālaśikṣā (a panegyric of new rules after Ranjit singh) in the middle of 19th Century, which is similar to the time of composition of Kīrtichandomālā.
