Śrāddhadharma (श्राद्धधर्म) refers to the “Śrāddhika rites”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.5.5 (“The Tripuras are fascinated).—Accordingly, as Sanatkumāra narrated to Vyāsa: “O sage, addressing the lord of the Asuras and the citizens thus, the sage with his disciples spoiled the Vedic rites in a determined manner. He then criticised the womanly virtues of chastity and manly virtues of continence etc. Similarly he attacked and repudiated the divine rites, Śrāddhika rites (śrāddhadharma), sacrificial rites and holy observances and festivals, pilgrimages and anniversaries. [...]”.
