This collection begins with a medieval yoga text by the name of the Śivayogapradīpikā (also known as the Śivayogadīpikā), which is followed by some short texts such as the Kaulopaniṣat. It ends with the largest work in the collection, the Kulārṇavatantra.
Yoga is originally considered a branch of Hindu philosophy (astika), but both ancient and modern Yoga combine the physical, mental and spiritual. Yoga teaches various physical techniques also known as āsanas (postures), used for various purposes (eg., meditation, contemplation, relaxation).
