śēpūṭa (शेपूट) [or शेंपूट, śēmpūṭa].—n (śēpa) A tail. 2 fig. Extremity or end; the concluding or a supplemental portion. śē0 aḍakaṇēṃ g. of s. To stick fast behind; to remain as inextricable, or as unmanageable or unaccomplishable;--used of an object fixed in some embarrassment or of an undertaking hard of consummation. śē0 ghālaṇēṃ To run or sneak away cowardly or meanly. śē0 ṭhēvaṇēṃ To leave a small remnant (of a business, work, or thing); and śē0 rāhaṇēṃ To be left or to remain. śē0 lāmbaviṇēṃ To protract or prolong indefinitely (a work, a demand). śē0 hālaviṇēṃ To be libidinous;--used of the female.
