Śakunavidyā (शकुनविद्या).—science of marks (la ñe) or omens (ltas kyi), according to Tibetan: Mahāvyutpatti 5058; Pali sakuṇa-vijjā, according to Dīghanikāya (Pali) commentary i.93.29, sapakkhaka-apakkhaka-dipada-catup- padānaṃ rūtagatādivasena sakuṇañāṇaṃ; also śakuni-v° Divyāvadāna 630.22 (see s.v. śivā-vidyā).
