Source: What is India: Annual Report on Indian Epigraphy (1945-1952)Saṅgamjāgarlamūḍi is an archaeologically important site situated in Ongole taluk (Guntur district, Madras), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Saṅgamjāgarlamūḍi there is a pillar in the courtyard, Saṅgameśvara temple which registers an endowment for burning lamps in the temple of Choḍeśvara-Mahādeva by two brothers, son of Boṇḍikioṭa Erama-śeṭṭi. It is dated Śaka 1164.
