Saṃcint (संचिन्त्).—1 U.

1) To think, consider, reflect, think over; इति संचिन्त्य नृपतिः क्रतुतुल्यफलं पृथक् (iti saṃcintya nṛpatiḥ kratutulyaphalaṃ pṛthak) Y.1.36; अद्यापि तामवहितां मनसाचलेन संचिन्तयामि युवतीं मम जीविताशाम् (adyāpi tāmavahitāṃ manasācalena saṃcintayāmi yuvatīṃ mama jīvitāśām) Ch. P.32.

2) To weigh (in the mind); discriminate.

3) To design, intend.
