Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryrānakēḷa (रानकेळ) [or ळी, ḷī].—f A wild variety of Musa or Plantain, Musa textilis. Grah. The leaves are used for dishes and thatching, and the bulb is boiled, or dried and pounded into flour, and eaten. It is the same as kavadara or rī.
