Prārabda (प्रारब्द) or Prārabdakarma refers to “actions begun; set in motion” and represents on of the three types of karma (“action”).— Prārabda-karma is that portion of sañcita-karma that is bearing fruit and shaping the events and conditions of current life, including the nature of one’s bodies, personal tendencies and associations.
