Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryphuṭaka (फुटक).—a C phuṭakara a (phuṭaṇēṃ) Cracked--a coin, a vessel: burst or broken--a dam, a wall: intermitted, lit. fig. 2 Odd, deficient, broken, not complete or entire--a set, a book, a machine. 3 phuṭakara is further Scattered, dispersed, separate, not united in masses--troops &c.

phuṭakā (फुटका).—a (phuṭaṇēṃ) Broken, burst, cracked. 2 fig. Broken, not under the common head or account;--as a period, an item of expenditure &c. 3 That is pierced readily by the pen, or that causes the ink to spread (in writing)--paper; or that spreads readily--ink; or that is thick and indistinct--writing, letters. Note. The word applies equally to kāgada, śāī, akṣara, & lēkha. 4 Deprived or dull of vision--an eye: deprived or dull of hearing--an ear: bad, cracked--destiny, fortune. 5 Abusive, obscene, or light--bhāṣaṇa, bōlaṇēṃ.
