phuṭakaḷa (फुटकळ).—a (phuṭaṇēṃ) Broken or burst here and there--an embankment, a hedge, a wall. 2 Broken up, divided into minor quantities--an article of the shops. 3 Odd, not taken into the common account--an item of expenditure &c. 4 Odd, loose, miscellaneous, of an incomplete set or unentire mass. 5 Abusive.
